Here're a few hints about my 3 movie quotes...

1) - A porn movie. In the scene, it's a prostitute in a therapy session, trying to "figure out" why she's been raped so often.

2) - Opening lines from a B&W sci-fi movie.

3) - Teenage girl saying grace before dinner, letting slip what she's getting nookie with.

(I think those hints gave away the movies...)

I knew two of three of Mz's. Dammit. I also recognised the first, but I've seen 'interview' only three times and I have a bad memory. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

As for the three films. Hmm. Well, I'm not into porn, really. Not that kind at any rate. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] Er, is the last one a James Woods movie?
Aw, another hint! I've only seen one B&W sci-fi movie. (I was planning a marathon of them soon.) The one with the ship that lands in the middle of washington and this man gets out who's actually an alien, or he works for the alien. Gawd, what was it called... It was actually not as bad as it sounds.

The movie Lefty is talking about directly above is called "The Day The Earth Stood Still". It's about (nutshell version) a UFO that lands in Washington DC, an alien comes out called Klatu, who has an important announcement for ALL of humanity. O'course, being in the middle of the Cold-War, none of Earths countries agree as to where the announcement should take place (Moscow, DC, Hong Kong, etc?) so Klatu escapes and tries to "get to 'know'" Earthlings before passing judgement based upon their Governments actions. Yadda-yadda-yadda, the movie goes on, everyone fears the unknown 'alien', though he rents a small apartment in town & becomes friendly with a widow & her young son (getting to know humanity). Near the end, he's shot & killed by the government, but his 7' robot "Gort" breaks his corpse out of prison & brings it back to the UFO, where Klatu is brought back to life. The title comes in when Klatu halts ALL mechanical & electrical activity on the entire planet, except in cases where it would cause fatalities (planes in flight, hospital electricity, etc.) Just enough to get everybody to wake-up and say "woah!". The final speech concerns the robots being galaxy-policemen, allowing freedom so long as it never threatens another species. An ultimatum too; don't fuckup, or we'll kick your asses!

MORE clues?!? Sheesh! Was I wrong about Lefty's 3 quotes? Cherrysmum said I was right about Galaxy Quest, but what about Fight Club, The Last Supper & Full Metal Jacket? (are there any other movies those quotes could be from?) Hehee, yea, "Lions & Tigers & Bears, OH MY!" coulda been from Predator 2 also, so sometimes the obvious choice isn't always the correct one....

Oh yeah. Klaatu barada nikto, or something like that. Was on Farscape last week. The Day the Earth Stood Still. Blast from the past. I actually kinda liked that movie, did I mention that?

I still don't know about the quotes. But those you mentioned were absolutely correct. The Last Supper must be in my personal top ten of favourite movies. I don't know how to rank movies (cuz flicks like Lola Rennt, Fight Club and Full Metal jacket are all up there somewhere, but I couldn't possibly decide which is better than which.) So I always say: "somewhere in the top ten" but there could be as much as 20 movies in my top ten. It's a matter of quantum mechanics, really.
